2004-7-9 Sponsored The Police Dragon Boat Club Charity Ride Luk Fook Group sponsored a charitable Dragon Boat event organized by the Police Dragon Boat Club held in Shing Mun River in Shatin on 29/05/2004. The event created a record of the longest distance rowed by dragon boat continuously within 24 hours. The event had been finished successfully and the result would be written into the Guinness Record. In addition, the event was expected to raise HK$250,000, which would be donated to the China Star Light Charity Fund Association and used for the building of a primary school in Inner Mongolia. Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman of Luk Fook Group, and Mr. Andy W. H.
